Man Kicked Officers While Being Arrested In Westfield, Police Say
The man received multiple charges.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A man kicked officers while they were trying to arrest him for driving while intoxicated, Westfield Police said.
David Wolfarth, 63 of Union, was also charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
At around 9 p.m. on Nov. 1, officers responded to the 100 block of Livingston St. for a vehicle crash. Wolfarth was searched at the scene and taken into custody for drunk driving, authorities said.

He was then taken to the Westfield Police Headquarters to be processed and given a date for a court appearance.
