Moms Take the Football Field for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Mothers of the Westfield PAL Flag Football league will play a game on Saturday to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month, mothers of the Westfield PAL Flag Football league will take the field to play a game of flag football.
After the initial flag football games, the moms will take the field at Tamaques Park for a fun game in order to raise awareness for Breast Cancer. Shirts will be sold at the event for $10. Moms and guardians are encouraged to come out the day of the game to be assigned to teams.
“This should be a fun, exciting time as all of the moms will get to see firsthand what its like to play flag football,” mother Jill Reed Siroty said. “These games will be very low key, non-competitive and a great way to let the players get to see their moms out there playing flag football.”
The Westfield PAL will also be hosting its annual Research for Juvenile Diabetes baked sale at the park on Saturday morning.
