New International Restaurant Coming To Downtown Westfield

The Middle Eastern eatery is taking over the old Chutzpah Kitchen site.

WESTFIELD, NJ — Downtown Westfield is getting a new restaurant that will take over the old site of the former Chutzpah Kitchen.

"Dr. Falafel" will open at 138 East Broad St. with a take on the classic Middle Eastern fried-chickpea dish, shawarma, salads, and more.

Favorites like gyros, pita, and hummus will also be on the menu.

As of Nov. 14, an opening date has not been confirmed, though the business said there is "Mediterranean magic loading."
