LINDEN, NJ — Four brothers have achieved the American Dream by opening a new Sports Bar & Restaurant in Linden.

This family-owned business managed by Luis Jerez, Enrique Jerez, Pedro Jerez, and Jorge Jerez held a ribbon cutting on Sept. 5 for Linden Sports Bar and Restaurant at 700 E. Elizabeth Avenue in Linden. This was the previous location of the former Tapas Bar & Grill.

The brothers came to the U.S. in 1992 with the hopes of living the American Dream.

"With an exciting menu, the recently renovated establishment has large sports bar screens located throughout the restaurant to ensure customers are engaged in the events as a shared experience. The restaurant’s atmosphere, décor, and lighting create an inviting and memorable experience," said Linden Mayor Derek Armstead.

The Jerez family also owns ParkView Tavern & Restaurant at 2048 E. Saint Georges Avenue in Linden.

"We are so happy serving the community and building memories together," said Jorge Jerez.
