Over $100 in Clothing Stolen from Westfield Shop
Shoplifting incident occurred at an East Broad Street store.
More than $100 in clothing merchandise was stolen from a Westfield store on Sept. 23, police said.
At around 3 p.m., clothing was stolen from a store in the 200 block of East Broad Street, a report from the WPD said.
An employee of the store detected the shoplifter and upon realizing they had been caught, the person fled the area in a black colored two-door vehicle, according to police.
No further information was released.
The person responsible was not immediately located by police.
