Songs From 'Grease!' To Be Performed At Westfield's James Ward Mansion

A staged concert version of the cult-classic 'Grease!' will be performed by the Broad Street Players in Westfield on Thursday.

WESTFIELD, NJ — "You better shape up" because the Broad Street Players are performing a staged concert version of "Grease!" at the James Ward Mansion in Westfield on Thursday.

The performance includes two nights of food, fun and favorite songs from the cult-classic "Grease!" on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Not only will attendees get to experience the music, but 50s fashion and dance moves will also be on display.

Following the performance, there will be an all-inclusive afterparty with the cast where carnival food will be served.

Additionally, a portion of each ticket sale will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Foundation. The actress who played Sandy in the movie died from breast cancer at age 73 on Aug. 8, 2022.

Seating at the event is at a first-come first-serve basis, and the performance will run at around one hour.

Broad Street Players is a theater group "created for youth, by youth" with an aim at bringing the community together through arts. Co-founders and co-owners Olivia Ebel and McKenzie Waddell formed the group in 2021. Both are Westfield High School graduates. Learn more here.
