Tiff's Burger & Ale House To Close After 44 Years In Business In Union County

Despite the Union closure, the family-owned restaurant's Morris Plains location will remain open.

UNION, NJ — After 44 years in business, Tiff's Burger & Ale House will be closing its Union Township location.

The family-owned restaurant announced on Tuesday that March 24 will be there last day open.

"The Romanelli brothers would like to thank our loyal staff, and the great people of Union and surrounding areas for your continued support throughout the years," said Tiff's Burger & Alehouse.

The family asked that patrons continue to support their family at the Tiff's in Morris Plains.

"Michael Romanelli Jr. will continue our legacy providing you with the best ribs, burgers, and wings around," said Tiff's Burger & Alehouse.

The closure announced received more than 175 reactions on Facebook and almost 60 comments with many patrons expressing their sadness.

"Sad to see you all go. Such good food and an amazing staff," wrote one patron.

"DEVASTATING!!! Best Ribs ANYWHERE!!" wrote another patron.

"Oh no!!! We’ve been coming to Tiffs for 14 years - my daughter’s favorite (chicken burrito no black beans no pica de gallo). What will we do without Tiffs???" said another patron.
