Trapped Driver Rescued After U-Haul Crashes Through Fence, Falls Down Wall In Union County
Westfield firefighters worked to rescue the trapped driver on Saturday night.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A trapped driver of a U-Haul truck was rescued after crashing through a fence and off a retaining wall on Saturday.
At around 9 p.m., Westfield Firefighters went to Livingston Street for the reported crash from a parking lot on Central Avenue.
Firefighters stabilized the truck before freeing the driver, the Westfield Fire Department said.

It took about three hours for a "heavy-duty" tow truck to remove the U-Haul.
