Weather Update: Weekend Weather Forecast in Westfield

Rain, rain, go away! After a bout with thunderstorms earlier in the week, what will the weekend look like?

After a pair of bouts with heavy rain and thunderstorms last weekend and earlier this week, residents are likely in the mood for some sunny weather.

The National Weather Service is forecasting mostly cloudy conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, with high temperatures near 57 and 63 respectively. Thursday night there is a 30 percent chance of showers, with a low around 56 degrees.

Westfield will continue to see a 30 percent chance of showers through Friday, with thunderstorms possible after noon. Conditions are expected to be mostly cloudy.

Residents should see temperatures increasing this weekend and partly cloudy conditions. Friday and Sunday will see temperatures reaching the mid-70s, while Saturday’s high will be near 78, according to the National Weather Service.
