Westfield Announces Road Improvement, Resurfacing Plans

The Town of Westfield released a list of roadways and announced plans for improvements and resurfacing of numerous roads around the town.

According to a report from TAPinto.net, the $3,440,000 bond ordinance would allow for the improvements and resurfacing of more than five miles of roadways in Westfield.

Here is a list from the Town of Westfield of the road improvements slated for 2015-2016:

Ward 1

• Harrison Avenue - Resurface between Kimball Avenue and East Broad Street
• Brightwood Avenue - Resurface Embree Crescent to Prospect Street
• Hanford Place - Resurface Seneca Place to Eaglecroft Road
• Fair Hill Road - Resurface Woodmere Drive to Sunnywood Drive
• Breeze Knoll Drive - Resurface Lawrence to Circle
• Lawrence Avenue (State Aid Project) - Resurface Roanoke Road to Mountain Avenue
• Tuttle Parkway - Resurface North Avenue to the split
