Westfield Football No. 1 In County for Second Week in Star Ledger Rankings
The Blue Devils' second win this week kept them at the top of the list.

“Westfield is for real, folks,” James Kratch of the Star Ledger tweeted after Saturday’s game against Hillsborough where the Blue Devils were victorious, 29-8.
For the second week in a row, Westfield is ranked No. 1 in the county for their “power running game and relentless pass rush,” Kratch said.
In Saturday’s game, Eugene Rawles scored three touchdowns for the team and possession was in Westfield’s hands for a majority of the game. Rawles is also one of the rushing leaders in the state, according to the Star Ledger.
Quarterback Chris Hogge was behind the three passes that lead to Rawles scoring. Hogge has thrown for 205 yards this season.
Kratch noted defensive end Chris Sweeney was playing like a First Team-All-State player during the Saturday match. Sweeney is currently the top sack leader in the state, according to the Star Ledger rankings.
The Boys take on Phillipsburg, who is also 2-0, this Friday (away).
