Westfield Public Schools Closed Tomorrow for Blizzard
All schools in the district will be closed Tuesday, as the two-day blizzard is expected to dump more than a foot of snow on the area.
The Westfield school district has announced that all public schools in Westfield will be closed tomorrow, due to the blizzard set to dump up to two feet of snow on the township.
Westfield High School exams have been rescheduled for Thursday, Jan. 29. Here’s a full list of schools in Westfield that will be closed tomorrow due to the snow.

- Redeemer Lutheran School
- The Union County Educational Services Commission School District

Westfield is under a Blizzard watch from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening, as more than a foot of “heavy blowing snow” is predicted to hit the state, the National Weather Service reports.
By Monday night, Westfield could see 9 inches of new snow accumulation, with an additional 3 to 7 inches falling on Tuesday. According to the NWS, much of the state will see blizzard conditions and 1 to 2 feet of snow.
