Westfield Senior Citizens Can Attend School Events For Free

Westfield senior citizens will now be able to attend many high school events for free.

Westfield senior citizens will now be able to attend many high school events for free.

The school district plans to give a “Golden Pass” to Westfield residents who are at least 65-years-old.

That pass will allow them to attend many school-sponsored events for free.

Events include Westfield High School concerts, musicals matinee performances of plays and athletic events, according to the district’s Facebook page.

The pass is available in the Business Office of the Westfield Board of Education, on the first floor of 302 Elm St. A list of popular events will also be provided.

“We welcome our senior citizens and thank them for their years of support,” Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Margaret Dolan said in a prepared statement.
