Woman's Car Flips Over In Westfield Crash, Rushed To Hospital: Police
Westfield's Police Chief said the woman's car overturned after she crashed into another parked car on Lawrence Avenue Friday morning.
WESTFIELD, NJ — A woman was driving on Lawrence Avenue in Westfield Friday morning when she struck another vehicle, causing her car to overturn, Police Chief Christopher Battiloro said.
The crash occurred at around 11:01 a.m. near the intersection of Woods End Road, according to Battiloro. Westfield Police and Fire Departments rushed to the scene and found that the woman struck a parked and unoccupied vehicle.
Police said the woman, who was properly seat-belted, was suspended in the overturned car until she was removed by EMS.

Battiloro said she did not not appear to suffer any serious injuries but was sent to University Hospital in Newark by Union County EMS.
The crash is under investigation by the Westfield Police Department. Battiloro said the crash report is not yet completed, so he does not have any further details at this time.
