Artist Jean Marie Boyko Exhibiting at Washington Twp. Library
The exhibit will be up at the Washington Township Library during April.
Artist Jean Marie Boyko will be her exhibiting her work at the Washington Township Library during April.
Boyko's art focuses on "the architectural detail" of a flower's anatomy, creating what she calls "floral portraits" with vibrant color.
“My painting technique involves the processes of the layering of glazes, in combination with areas of opaque brushstroke, creating a ‘push and pull’ of depth and light." Boyko said in her artist's statment. "These techniques and subject matter allow me to bring about an awareness of nature’s totality, in which all of life’s details play a part.”
