Bank of America Plans Drive-Thru Upgrade

The plan was approved by the Westwood Planning Board.

The Bank of America in Westwood is planning to demolish their detached drive-thru teller building and replace it with new drive-thru ATMs.

The plan was recently approved by the Westwood Planning Board, granting the bank permission to keep the non-conforming drive-thru use at the site. Officials are expected to finalize their approval with a resolution Thursday.

That means drive-thru customers won't get to deal with a human teller anymore, but the bank stated in its application that the ATMs would come with some upgrades.

They're also planning to do some landscaping fix-ups and install some new lights as part of the project.
