Located at 275 Pascack Road, Row House, a boutique fitness studio, will offer rowing workouts that are low-impact and high-intensity, making it ideal for people of all ages and abilities.
According to Anna Kraeutler, general manager, the grand opening is slated for Sept. 23.

Since its launch in New York City back in 2014, Row House has rapidly expanded across the country. Within New Jersey, there locations are also coming soon to Montclair and Livingston.
After evaluating where to debut Bergen County's first Row House, Kraeutler said Washington Township seemed like “the perfect spot for our first studio.”

“The community has been incredibly supportive and welcoming. From our members who are so excited to start taking classes to those just passing by and wishing us well, we feel like Washington Township is a perfect place to row! We are so excited to bring our fun and results oriented studio to the community,” she said.
Row House plans to offer six different 45-minute classes that center around the rowing machine. Some sessions focus on cardio and endurance, while others emphasize fat burning, or toning and sculpting, Kraeutler said.
“Unlike many other forms of exercise, the rowing machine works over 85% of your muscles (legs, core, arms, back), giving you both cardio and strength,” she said.
“We are about building our bodies up, not breaking them down. With the lights down and the music up, every Row House workout will have you building strength, endurance, and confidence,” she said.
A class schedule is still being finalized but Kraeutler said there will be a variety of options, including classes as early as 5:15 a.m. and as late as 7:30 p.m. on weekdays, as morning and midday sessions on weekends.
Currently, Row House is giving a 20% discount on unlimited and 8-visits-a-month memberships for the next 100 members who join. There are about 30 spots left and Kraeutler said she expects they’ll sell out quickly in coming weeks.
