See coaches discuss the coming Bergen County Softball Championship tournament during a live show at 8 p.m. on May 3 broadcast over WCTV.
The May 3 show features guests including coaches and players, with long-time Exit 168 show host Larry Lifrieri and John Francolla, known for his years as a local softball and baseball umpire. The tournament games begin May 4. The tournament is sponsored by the Bergen County Women Coaches Association. Weather permitting, WCTV will cover the May 18 quarterfinals from Immaculate Heart Academy, the semifinals May 25 at Indian Hills High School and the championship game June 1 at Montclair State University.
The all-volunteer station offers 8 p.m. Friday shows. In May, they include a media presentation from Immaculate Heart Academy on May 10 and rebroadcast of live coverage of games from the tournament.

The all-volunteer station WCTV broadcasts 24 hours a day on Cablevision of Oakland's Channel 77 to the Township of Washington and Westwood. It's also on Verizon FIOS Channel 24 throughout Bergen County and portions of New Jersey. New volunteers are always welcome to help with shows produced in the studio at Township of Washington Town Hall, 350 Hudson Ave., and for coverage of local youth sporting events. Seasoned volunteers will mentor newcomers so that they can learn to operate cameras, work the sound board and other control-room equipment.
