Collection For Typhoon Victims, 'Taste of Bergen' This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Westwood, Hillsdale and Washington Township.
St. Andrew's Church of Westwood will be collecting donations this week for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Phillipines. Checks and goods — a list of what's needed is here — can be dropped off at the church's parish center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays through November 26.
The Foundation at Bergen Regional Medical Center will hold the fifth annual "Taste of Bergen" at Seasons in Washington Township Monday night. Tickets cost $75.
Westwood Childcare Academy will hold an open house at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The Washington Township Zoning Board meets at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the township municipal building. The agenda is available here.
Blooming Hearts Gift Shop in Westwood will host a glass painting event at 6 p.m. Tuesday and a soap making class at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Westwood Regional Board of Education meets at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the high school.
The Westwood Planning Board meets at 8 p.m. Thursday in the borough municipal building.
