Conrad's Confectionery Episode of 'The Chew' Airs Friday

The Westwood-based Conrad's Confectionery will appear on an episode of ABC's daytime talk/cooking show The Chew Friday.

The episode starts at 1 p.m.

Host Carla Hall visited the shop in downtown Westwood earlier this month to interview confectioner J.J. Krachtus and check out their Easter candy, including the three-foot-tall chocolate bunnies.

Conrad's is known for their candies and ice cream, which are homemade on site with the same ingredients and recipes used since the shop came to Westwood in 1935.

The shop was previously featured on The Martha Stewart Show in 2011.
