Council Primary Elections Uncontested in Westwood, Hillsdale
Both parties has two candidates running for two seats in both boroughs.

Tuesday is the primary election, but there isn't much competition on the ballot just yet in Westwood and Hillsdale.
There are two council seats up for election in Westwood this year. Republicans Robert Miller and Robert Bicocchi and Democrats Ruth Nass and Angelica Perkins have put their names in for the race.
In Hillsdale, there are also two council seats up for election. Democrats Chris Looes and Paul Muller and Republicans Frank Pizzella and John MacEwen will all be seeking those terms.

Voters from both parties will get a chance to pick who they want to run for governor this year. Republican Gov. Chris Christie is facing Seth Grossman, while Democrats Barbara Buono and Troy Webster will compete for the nomination.
There are also several other seats which are uncontested in the primary, but on which Westwood and Hillsdale voters will get a say on in November. Disctrict 39's state senate and assembly seats are both up for election this year, as are three Bergen County freeholder positions and the sheriff's office.

The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
