Hillsdale Holds Annual Tree, Menorah Lighting
Hundreds of residents came out for the event.
Hillsdale held its annual Christmas tree and menorah lighting ceremony in Veteran's Park Wednesday night.
Police estimated there were between 200 and 300 residents attending the event.
The event, organized by Patty Hughes and the borough's recreation commission, featured a visit from "Santa Claus" with the Hillsdale Fire Department, Reverend Chet Klope from the Pascack Bible Church and Alyssa Simpson from Temple Emanuel.

The Bergen County Model Railroad Club also held an open house in the upstairs at the Hillsdale Train Station during the event. They will hold another open house on the weekend of December 15.Â
Big Daddy's Pizza donated candy canes and Starbucks donated hot chocolate for the event.
