HILLSDALE, NJ — A man was killed after a vehicle fell on him on Colonial Boulevard Thursday, police said. Police received a 911 call and when they arrived they found the man underneath the vehicle, said Detective Travis Woods. Police and a few good Samaritans lifted the vehicle off of the man, Woods said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities did not identify the 54-year-old man except that he was from Hillsdale. Hillsdale police detectives and members of the Bergen County Sheriff's Office Bureau of Criminal Investigations are investigating the incident, Woods said. <hr />Email: daniel.hubbard@patch.com
