Knights of Columbus Raising Money For Developmentally Disabled
Members of the Washington Township Knights of Columbus will be "shaking the can" from April 19 to 21.

Members of Mother Seton Council #5427 of the Knights of Columbus, led by drive Chairman Dan Licini, will repeat the annual donning of their bright yellow and red trimmed vests to signify that the annual fundraiser for the developmentally disabled has begun on April 19 in Washington Township.
Brother Knights will be “shaking the can” at key locations in the township soliciting donations. For this, and all such events, 100 percent of every dollar received by the K of C volunteers goes directly to aid our neighbors.

In recent years this drive has reached $20,000, thanks in a big way to a grant of $10,000 from the Oritani Bank Charitable Foundation. The K of C hopes to do that again this year. All knights volunteer their time for these activities and bear any expenses themselves. This fundraising event will continue through Sunday, April 21. Donations by mail can be sent to the K of C Charity Fund, 79 Pascack Road, Township of Washington, N.J. 07676. Donations are always welcome, all year long.
Applications for membership in the Knights of Columbus are welcome from qualified individuals. For more information call 201-664-0422, or go to their website.
