As you drive through the streets of Washington Township, how can you not help but seeing the mayoral candidates signs? Sobkowicz and her team, and D’Urso and his team. For me, I do not see signs and names. I see unilateral or mutual governing. I see stagnation or change. I see partiality or impartiality. I see unprofessional conduct or professionalism. I see badly managed finances or fiscal responsibility. I see devaluation of our properties or appreciation of our real estate. The list is endless.
I am a resident that has been in town for years, I have volunteered for all activities and fought for programs that this town needs. To have a mayor who rules by the Faulkner policy, which basically means her way or the highway, is unconscionable. I have asked questions, I have offered to volunteer my time to set up policies and procedures that this town does not have, I have attended council meetings to meet face to face with the mayor, all of which falls on deaf ears. No response, no communication. I write from factual experience and not emotional ones.
I have been in the business world for years and like any entity there must be a business aspect to everything. The mayor's lack of management and business is evident.

Joe D’Urso is a professional businessman and more importantly an individual who will make this town a more attractive area to live in. I have met with him and he has taken the time to respond and listen.
Where are we? Here. What time is it? The time is now.

Tell me, is this mayor we want for the next four years?
In the words of Dennis Miller, "of course this is my opinion and I could be wrong." But in the words of Robert Bruno, "I am not wrong."
