Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Washington Township has established a fund to raise money to purchase a much needed organ for its church in honor of Ernie Mazzei, who died on January 7 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Ernie was a member of the OLGC choir for 25 years and is remembered for his outstanding bass voice. The goal of the fund drive is to raise $20,000 for the new organ that will bear a plaque honoring his memory. If you wish to donate, please make your check payable to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church with a note stating it is for the Organ Fund in honor of Ernie Mazzei and mail it to: 668 Ridgewood Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676.
