Packers Offer B.J. Raji $8M Per Year Contract, Report Says

Raji is a Washington Township native and Westwood Regional High School alumnus.

The Green Bay Packers have offered Washington Township native B.J. Raji a longterm contract worth $8 million per year, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Raji, a graduate of Westwood Regional High School, is a defensive lineman for the Packers, but his current contract ends after this year. He's played for the Packers since he was drafted in 2009 and played a key role in their 2011 Superbowl victory.

Raji received the offer months ago, but hasn't taken it yet, according to the report.

He earned All-State, All-North Jersey and All-County honors while playing for Westwood and went on to play for Boston College before starting his professional career.

So far this season, Raji has made 12 tackles, 10 of which were done solo.
