Pro Skater Rodney Mullen Visits Westwood Circa 1986 [VIDEO]

Professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen visited Westwood during 1986 for a demonstration, as seen in the video above.

The habits of skaters in Veterans' Memorial Park have irked some borough officials lately as they have damaged benches dedicated by local families and skaters may soon find the benches unskateable once additional armrests are installed.

Mullen, who is best known for pioneering many of the basic moves popular with skaters, did not use any benches during his 15 minute demo.
