'The Bing' Gets Its Own Reality Show

Reality show "The Real Girls of the Bada Bing" features Satin Dolls, the Lodi club where scenes were filmed for The Sopranos. CAUTION: ADULT LANGUAGE AND SCENES IN VIDEO

A new reality show in development features Bergen County's Satin Dolls, the gentlemen's club best known as the fictional "Bada Bing!" from The Sopranos.

Tom Murro, a celebrity journalist and the show's executive producer, said it's like a mix between Jersey Shore, The Real Housewives of New Jersey and The Sopranos.

"It's going to be awesome," Murro said. "There's a lot more swearing and violence. No table flipping, though."

Satin Dolls, the real club where scenes from The Sopranos were filmed, is located on Route 17 in Lodi. The show takes a look at the drama in the lives of the club's dancers — one is paying her way through college, another struggles with self-esteem — and they all fight with each other over tips.

"It's like a little secret society," Murro said.

A pilot episode and "sizzle reel" have already been filmed, and a preview for the show featuring dancers and the club's owner was recently uploaded to video-sharing website Vimeo.

Kim G of Real Housewives fame is also onboard as a producer, Murro said. She may get some airtime on the show in scenes where an American Idol-style panel of judges critiques potential new dancers for the club.

Murro said he already had two networks interested and hoped to get it on air in the fall.
