Valentine's Day Dessert Raises Money For Meals on Wheels

Lou's Tavern is holding a Valentine's Day fundraiser to support Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels Thursday.

The event will feature dessert, music, champagne and raffles and other giveaways. A $10 donation is requested and all the proceeds will go to Meals on Wheels.

Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels has about 450 volunteers working in 24 Bergen towns delivering meals to, currently, about 250 seniors and people with health problems that prevent them from being able to buy or prepare their own food.

The event will take place from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Lou's Tavern, 74 Broadway in Hillsdale.
