The township's senior team won their league championship Saturday.

The Washington Township Falcons senior team, made up of seventh- and eighth-graders, won their league championship in River Vale Saturday.
The 35-member football team beat Lodi 21-14 to grab the top spot in their league.
This group, who finished their season with an 8-1-1 record, also won their league championship in 2010. They are the first team in town history to win the "Super Bowl" twice.
