Westwood Regional's New Superintendent Poll Ends Friday
The school board is seeking public input in their search for a new superintendent of Westwood Regional Schools.

Friday is the deadline for anyone who wants to participate in the Westwood Regional Board of Education's poll regarding their search for a new superintendent.
Board members said they hoped to identify the skills and attributes that parents, school staff and other residents consider to be most important for the new superintendent to have.Â

Former Superintendent Geoffrey Zoeller resigned as of April 25. Interim Superintendent Rory McCourt has been filling the position since December and is set to remain there until the end of this month, but said he would not pursue the permanent job. The board recently interviewed three finalists for the interim position. The chosen candidate will likely hold the seat until a new superintendent is found.
The board has hired R-Pat Solutions of Roselle Park to assist them with the superintendent search. R-Pat will compile the survey responses to ensure the anonymity of anyone who responds.
