Westwood Regional Students Presenting 'Little Shop of Horrors'
Students from Westwood and Washington Township will perform in the musical March 14, 15 and 16.
The Woodington Players of Westwood Regional Jr./Sr. High School are presenting Little Shop of Horrors, which transforms the stage of the Campbell Auditorium into the skid row slums of New York City in 1960.
In the show, Mr. Mushnik is struggling financially in his flower shop, and both of his employees, Seymour and Audrey, separately dream of escaping their hopeless poverty. Seymour displays a “strange and interesting” plant to attract customers and names the plant “Audrey II” after Audrey. After a surprising turn of events, the audience is able to witness the plant’s overwhelming growth as it takes over the shop.
Tickets are $10 in advance and can be reserved at woodiestickets@gmail.com. Performance dates are March 14, 15, and 16, 2013 at 7 p.m. with a Saturday matinee on March 16 at 1 p.m.
