WOODBRIDGE, NJ - An online fundraiser has been launched for a Woodbridge deli that was reportedly vandalized last month.

Nora's Deli, a Woodbridge fixture for over 25 years, is seeking $5,000 for business repairs and expenses, according to the GoFundMe page. A block of wood was thrown through the front window of the store overnight on March 20, News 12 reported.

It wasn’t immediately clear if any arrests have been made in connection with the vandalism.

“Owner Nora Ozturk recently discovered that her business was vandalized. Additionally, she works 20 hours a day while taking care of her husband who requires constant medical care from Nora,” the fundraising page reads. “Her husband has both legs amputated and relies on a feeding machine and recently a dialysis machine which was purchased by Nora so that she could help her husband in between working at the deli.”

The apartment that Ozturk rents out to help cover costs was rented by tenants who did not pay rent for 14 months, fundraising organizer Minas Frangos said.
