‘Tooling Around’ Woodbridge Volunteer Program Returns In April

Woodbridge's community volunteer program aimed at repairing the homes of those facing financial hardship is slated to return once again.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Woodbridge’s community volunteer program aimed at repairing the homes of residents facing financial hardship is slated to return once again in April.

The volunteer program, “Tooling Around the Township,” has helped to beautify and repair the homes of senior citizens, disabled and low-income residents who are unable to do it themselves for over a decade, the town said.

This year, the program will be held on Saturday, April 29.

Both skilled and unskilled volunteers are invited to participate, and sponsors/donations are welcome. Materials sought to be donated include hardware supplies, paint, paint brushes, gardening equipment and cleaning supplies.
