WOODBRIDGE, NJ - Thanks to one Woodbridge pizzeria, all Woodbridge police officers will be donning a special patch on their uniform this month.

Pino’s Pizza & Restaurant’s donation to Woodbridge police ensures that all uniformed officers will be sporting an autism awareness patch during April, according to a statement from the police department.

April serves as Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month. Woodbridge will be hosting its own autism awareness flag raising ceremony at town hall on April 11 at 5 p.m., with representatives from Woodbridge police, Woodbridge board of ed and Mayor John E. McCormac.

Pino's is no stranger to helping its community, either. Last week, Pino’s donated pizzas to the North Jersey Young Marines at Colonia High School.
