A jury returned a guilty verdict after deliberating for just an hour.

A Bergen County man faces life in prison for assaulting two people and carjacking a vehicle in Paterson nearly three years ago, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes announced.
Paul Myhand, 40, of Hackensack was found guilty by a Passaic County jury Friday of two counts of first-degree carjacking after only one hour of deliberations, Valdes announced.
Myhand entered a car near Main Street and Broadway in Paterson on July 24, 2016 in Paterson, Valdes said. According to evidence presented at trial, Myhand assaulted the driver and a passenger while shouting "Give me the car!" she said.
