Rita's Water Ice, 1020 Maple Ave., Glen Rock, will donate a portion of profits made from noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 10 to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge in Oakland.
The shelter will feature some of its adoptable animals, and attendees are encouraged to bring their dog while enjoying an ice or custard.
The refuge is a nonprofit, no-kill shelter at 2 Shelter Lane in Oakland.
