Free Choral Concert at Cedar Hill Church

Christian Health Care Center will sponsor a concert by the Chancel Choir of the Westminster Presbyterian Church of West Chester, PA., at 3 p.m. July 18 at the .

This free afternoon concert will feature patriotic and sacred musical numbers. Participating congregations include Faith Community Christian Reformed Church, Midland Park Christian Reformed Church and Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church.

The Chancel Choir is the backbone of the music ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church and has more than 100 members representing the larger congregation of more than 2,000 members. The choir performed throughout Germany and was one of the featured choirs in the Salzburg Choral Festival in Austria in 2007. The following year they performed at the Kennedy Center and the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The repertoire of the choir includes many major works including Mozart's Coronation Mass, Faure's Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elijah and Vivaldi's Gloria.
