The Wyckoff Family YMCA and Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood will sponsor a "Fancy Nancy Dress-Up Day" and indoor parade, hosted by "Fancy Nancy" author Jane O'Connor.
Children are invited to come dressed in their "Fanciest Nanciest" attire to meet the author and hear her read from her latest book, "Fancy Nancy Ooh La La! It's Beauty Day!"
The event will be held at 4 p.m. June 23 at the Y, 691 Wyckoff Ave. Tickets are $20 per family (up to two children, includes one signed book) and $15 for each additional child (includes one signed book). Children younger than 2 are free. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Wyckoff Y.
