4. Attention veterans, military personnel and cadets in Franklin Lakes: The borough wants you to march in the memorial day parade. Contact Nancy Yarish at (201) 891-0048 (ext. 1204) or nyarish@franklinlakes.org. Also, if you know of any Borough residents that died in combat, please contact Nancy so that we can be assured that the plaque is complete.
5. “A Mother’s Story -Reflections on Losing Jimmy” by Ann Ganley and “A Youth’s Story - Depression, Recovery and Hope” by Jordan Burnham will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011- 7-9 pm Wyckoff Family YMCA - Community Room. Come out for an evening of information and conversation to raise awareness of signs of depression in our youth. Parents, students and educators are encouraged to attend!
