New Jersey’s Top 10 Google Searches In 2019

Google recently released its annual "Year in Search" data, which takes a look back at some of the most popular queries of 2019.

Google recently released its annual “Year in Search” data, which that takes a look back at some of the most popular queries of 2019. Since 2010, the tech company has rounded up its top search lists for celebrity deaths, major news events and key pop culture moments.

This year, the most popular search in New Jersey was Cameron Boyce, according to information provided by Google. Boyce was a 20-year-old Disney Channel star who died from epilepsy in July 2019.

In the United States, Disney Plus, the new streaming service, was the most popular search term, followed by Cameron Boyce, rapper Nipsey Hussle, who died on March 31, 2019 and Hurricane Dorian, the tropical cyclone hit the Bahamas.

Internationally, the top term was India vs. South Africa — a cricket match that occurred in September. Other top searches: Cameron Boyce, soccer championship Copa America, cricket series Bangladesh vs India and the iPhone 11.
