Ramapo Junior Competes on MSG Varsity Talent Show Tonight

Tonight, Ali Brustofski will compete in “The Talent Show,” a new singing competition hosted by Former American Idol semifinalist Jared Cotteron on MSG Varsity. 

"I've always loved music and sang my heart out since I was little, but I started singing lessons when I was 8 after my first community theatre production," the 17-year-old Ramapo student told Patch. "Through theatre I realized singing was where I felt the most at home, and its a way for me to express myself when I can't find the words. Music is my release, when I can truly feel my best."

The talented Theatre Arts University Program student will watch the show with her family when it airs tonight at 6 p.m.  Viewers get to vote on their favorite performer and if Ali is picked over her competitor, she will move on to the next round.
