Wyckoff Rotary Club Members Exemplify 'Service Above Self'
"It was my absolute honor to present three amazing members of our community with (service) awards," president Gina Campanella said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — In accordance with the Rotary's mission, these three local Rotarians exemplify "service above self."
Cristyn Madley, Nancy DeRitter and Gordon Stanley, each members of the Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary Club, were presented with awards on Wednesday in recognition of their selfless service to the club and their communities.
Madley, the founder and president of Families for Families; and DeRitter, the Interact and React Club chapter advisor at Midland Park High School, were presented with Kenneth Norman Community Service Awards.

Families for Families is a charity in Wyckoff that helps families in need in the area, while the Interact Club is Rotary International's service club for young people. Both Madley and DeRitter received the award named in honor of Norman, a longtime and loyal member of the local club.
Stanley, alternatively, was presented with the Walter D. Head Award for his years of service; this award was named in honor of Head, a former member of the Rotary Club in Teaneck who became president of Rotary International in 1939-40.

Also celebrating 64 years since its charter, the local Rotary Club selects recipients for these awards every year based on member nominations.
"It was my absolute honor to present three amazing members of our community with awards in recognition of their service," Wyckoff-Midland Park Rotary Club president Gina Campanella said.
"Thanks to (Cristyn, Nancy and Gordon) for all that you have done and all that you will continue to do," Campanella added.
