  1. Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot near Central Avenue and Eubank Boulevard on Thursday night. Officers arrived at the scene around 10:00 p.m. after receiving a report of shots fired and discovered the victim dead at the scene. Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact the Albuquerque Police Department at 242-COPS. (KOB)
  2. More than 1,000 drivers have been caught speeding in Albuquerque after the city installed new speed cameras last week. Two new cameras were installed on Gibson Boulevard and one was added to Montgomery Boulevard — areas that police say are "hotspots" for speeders. Drivers caught speeding are currently being issued warnings, but beginning May 25, they will begin receiving $100 tickets. (KRQE News 13)
  3. The Adobe Theater is hosting a Young Actors Summer Studio in June. The workshop will take place from Jun. 13-24 and will encourage young performers to explore character development and character relationships through acting activities and games, ensemble building, movement exploration, and improvisation.
