Dexter band director to play in Rose Parade (krqe.com) β Two Albuquerque band directors will join Dexter Middle Schoolβs Bruce Bailey in marching with a 330-member ensemble in the Rose Parade on New Yearβs Day, proudly representing New Mexico. Bailey, a piccolo player and small-school band director, hopes the national spotlight inspires more students across the state to pursue music and follow their band directorsβ example.
