  1. Police have detained four suspects following a standoff that required a SWAT team and crisis negotiators to be called to the scene earlier this week. The incident occurred in the 600 block of Espanola Street, where officers responded to a report of shots fired on Thursday evening. As of 10:30 p.m. Thursday, police reported that four individuals had been detained without incident. (KOB)
  2. The Neighborhood Nature Festival, a pop-up event connecting neighborhoods with nature, will hold its second event today at Alamosa Park. The free celebration will include live music, paletas, bilingual nature storytelling and puppet shows, hands-on science activities, and more. Stop by the park behind the Ted M. Gallegos Community Center today between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to join in on the fun. (KRQE News 13)
  3. Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire along Central Avenue early yesterday morning. Fire crews were dispatched to Coaches Sports Bar around 2:30 a.m. Friday and were able to get the fire under control. Officials say no firefighters or civilians were injured as a result of the incident. (KRQE News 13)
