- This is your daily reminder to adhere to the speed limit! An ABQ woman experienced a tragedy this week when she watched her therapy dog get hit by a speeding car. The speed limit in Stephanie Pinon’s Westgate neighborhood is 25 mph, and a red pickup truck did not abide by that rule. Pinon's therapy dog, Princess, was reportedly struck and killed. She has filed a police report but has not heard if the driver of the truck was tracked down. (KRQE News 13)
- An ABQ native's pilot is now available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video. Paul J. Lucero created the pilot "Our Crazy Family" about Lydia and Dominic, siblings in love with the same girl. ABQ residents may recognize some of the local filming spots in the show, including El Charrito, New Mexico Escape Room, and ABQ Axe. (Albuquerque Journal)

- Somos Albuquerque is back with a ten-day festival celebrating the city. There will be music, food, community, and art and the Somos Dreamglow concert is Saturday at Balloon Fiesta Museum. All ages are welcome and the schedule of events can be found at the link. (KRQE News 13)
- The country band Shenandoah will headline Albuquerque’s Freedom 4th. The band is known for hits like “Two Dozen Roses” and “Church on Cumberland Road” and has more than 300 million streams and 13 number 1 radio singles. Other Summerfest headliners include Las Cafeteras and Yacht Rock Revenue. The events will kick off on June 11 at North Domingo Baca Park. (KRQE News 13)
