- Detectives are investigating a homicide that took place on Monday. The deadly incident occurred on the 3100 block of Ortiz NE in Albuquerque. As of this writing, the story is developing and details are limited. (KRQE News 13)
- Deputies with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office have arrested two men performing donuts at an intersection near University and Indian School. Nicholas Mahmoudi and Odalys Pena, both 19 years old, were arrested after fleeing from the intersection. Pena is being charged with conspiracy while Mahmoudi is being charged with aggravated fleeing, reckless driving, and improper display of plate. (KRQE News 13)
- The Albuquerque community took to the streets this past weekend to protest the leaked Supreme Court draft overturning Roe V. Wade. The protest was organized by the Party for Socialism and Liberation. Protestors marched from the Pete V. Domenici Courthouse to the plaza in Old Town. Speakers talked at both locations about abortions, trans voices, and the impact this will have on low-income communities. (UNM Daily Lobo)
