- The Albuquerque City Council approved $2 million to go towards Universal Hydrogen's manufacturing expansion project. The company's planned expansion includes the construction of a new manufacturing facility in the city, which is expected to create more than 1,200 jobs. (Subscription: The Business Journals)
- Albuquerque police are currently investigating three separate shootings over the past month which have taken place at the homes of three Albuquerque elected officials. The recent shootings happened at the homes of two county commissioners and a state senator on three separate days. (KRQE News 13)
- The Albuquerque City Council approved $5.2 million in funding to go toward low-income housing development in the city. Developments that will get the funding include a 50-unit apartment building called the Route 66 Flats and the renovation of existing homes and apartment buildings. (KRQE News 13)
